From the first day you will be amazed by the beauty of Zailiisky Alatau foothills: famous high-altitude rink "Medeu", located at the height of 1691 meters above sea level, the Stairs of Health with legendary 842 steps. Not everyone can climb them "in one breath", but the fascinating view from the dam to the rink, its surroundings and the enchanting mountain scenery is worth the effort.
For the next 2 days, you will be able to conquer the snowy slopes of the Shymbulak mountain resort. At the end of the tour, you will be on an adventure to the Charyn Canyon, which is about 12 million years old. Also, you will have a bath in the hot springs of Chundzha. Scientists have confirmed the fact that there was a large volcano not far from Almaty. This volcanic funnel was extinguished more than 200 million years ago, but its magmatic canals haven't closed completely. They are the ones that heat the water, which then gushes to the surface under tremendous pressure.

You must have the following items with you:
•A first aid kit and medication for any chronic illnesses (if you have);
•Personal hygiene products;
•A swimsuit, rubber slippers and bath towel (for visiting the sauna).

While visiting the mountains, you will need:
•Insulated trekking shoes;
•Shoe covers from the snow;
•Tight warm socks;
•Spare socks;
•Heat-resistant waterproof pants, leggings/underwear;
•Roll-neck sweater/T-shirt, fleece sweatshirt;
•Ski jacket with a warm base;
•Down-padded coat/jacket;
