We are pleased to offer a one-day private tour of the Charyn Canyon and a hike to the Charyn River.
Guests will have a unique opportunity to visit the six natural landmarks of the Charyn Canyon, including two canyons and three places with magnificent panoramic views. The route welcomes our guests all year round. You will get the best experience if you visit it in April, May, September or October.
The road to the Charyn Canyons takes at least 3 hours. Departure from Almaty is around 7 am, the exact departure time will be announced closer to the date, as our car will pick up each of our guests from their hotels. Sightseeing bus departs to the city at 7 in the evening.

LOCATION 1: Valley of Castles of Charyn Canyon (Kyzylsai, Red Canyon)
We will stop at the parking lot, which is on higher altitude. The path to the entrance of the valley lies lower, which means we will slowly walk down the trail through the gorge to reach the Eco Park village (2 km one way). The guide will tell you about the features of Charyn Canyon. Another destination in the first location will be the panoramic view to the valley.
LOCATION 2: Lunar Canyon
After about 30-minute drive we will arrive at Lunar Canyon. Photo session for 15 minutes, then a short walk among the tops of the walls of the canyon towards the panoramic platform with the view to Lunar Canyon.
LOCATION 3: Charyn River (Stone shelf)
An unforgettable, stunning view of the Charyn River and the mountain gorge with a lunch break.
LOCATION 4: Napoleon Panorama
Napoleon Panorama provides its visitors the view to the canyon from another perspective. The name became from the layered structure of the canyon in this part.
LOCATION 5: Austrian Panorama
Austrian Panorama was unofficially named after tourists from Austria who first found and visited the point of view the Charyn canyons. It offer the best experience of photographing in this area.
